All students are provided with a planner, which they use to record additional work, independent learning challenges and other relevant information.  It is an important two-way communication channel between home and school.  We ask parents to check and sign the planner each week.  It is checked at intervals by form tutors and even the Senior Leadership Team.  The planner provides an easy opportunity to inform tutors of known absences or to write a note regarding the reason for a recent absence. 

The planner has grids to record student progress and also contains plenty useful information that will help your child maximize their achievements at college.
