songwriting-drummer.jpgThere is more to Alfreton Grange Arts College than that which takes place in the classrooms.  We have a huge amount of groups and clubs that operate both outside college hours and at lunchtimes.   Click here to find a comprehensive list.

We have a strong tradition of shows and musical productions and music tuition is available.  Many of our former students have gone on to become professionals in the world of arts having served their apprenticiships here at the college.

However it’s not solely in the arts where we focus our extra curricular attention; students can freely join in to debating, Maths drop-in, chess and IT activities amongst many others.

In sports and athletics there are many teams or events to join throughout the year for both boys and girls.

There is a large variety of field study visits, annual visits abroad such as our long standing yearly trip to Holland for year 10 students and our recent ICT trip to New York for year 12 and 13 students.

In addition several groups not directly connected with the college stage their activities at the college.  Take a look at our Extended Services pages which are available via the tab to your right.
