All students receive a programme of Careers Education and Guidance. In addition the Derbyshire Connexions Service work with students in school and they provide a drop-in service for students every Thursday. Students can make more formal appointments with Connexions via their tutors or the Information Resource Manager. Our Information Resource Centre contains an up-to-date and extensive section of careers and training course materials plus details of other sixteen plus educational establishments and universities. We also have access to the Kudos software products that give excellent information about a whole range of careers. The college also works very closely with Aim Higher, an organization that attempts to ensure students make the most of their formal education.
